  • 1978-1981: Ph. D. thesis work on WA2 experiment at CERN SPS

  • (semi-leptonic decays of hyperons and measurement of the Cabibbo angle)

  • 1981-1989: UA2 experiment at CERN ppbar Collider

  • 1987 -1988: convenor of Higgs study group for La Thuile workshop on LHC vs CLIC

  • 1987-1989: member of CERN SPSC

  • 1990: beginning of CERN staff contract

  • 1990-1991: SPS coordinator

  • 1990-1999: Physics coordinator for EAGLE and subsequently ATLAS
