Jie Wu

openlab Summer Student, IT-DI Group, from 04/07/10 to 31/08/10

Jie Wu is a PhD student majoring in Computer Application Technologies in Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy Sciences. He started his university life in September 2004 and got a bachelor degree of Information & Computing Sciences in June 2008 in the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. He was interested in high performance and distributed computing and launched the first volunteer computing project CAS@home in China in January 2010. During his stay at CERN, he is part of the IT-DI group, and he is working on CERN virtual machine technology for clusters and distributed computing project.
