The first openlab Thematic workshop
starts at CERN, on March 17th 2003.
This event
focuses on Data and Storage management. Engineers from
CERN and openlab partners are gathering to discuss CERN
and LHC requirements in terms of storage, and the work
undertaken so far to develop technologies such as the
CASTOR system or the outcome of the EDG project. The
event is lasting two days. Industry partners will
have, during the second day, one-to-one discussions with
CERN engineers to explore more in depth CERN
requirements, as well as discussing potential solutions.
