The second openlab Thematic workshop opened  at CERN, on  July 8th 2003,   focuses on Fabric Management, gathering more than 40 specialists from the openlab industrial partners and CERN. Examples of topics discussed include the plans for management of the LCG Tier0 and Tier1 systems, the monitoring of LHC online farms, the automation of computer fabrics in EDG or the maintenance of large Linux clusters at CERN.

The event is lasting two days.  Industry partners will have, during the second day, one-to-one discussions with CERN engineers to explore more in depth CERN requirements, as well as discussing potential solutions.
