The
20th October 2008,
Dr. Pat Gelsinger, senior vice president of Intel Corporation's
and general manager Digital Enterprise Group,
and Dr. Robert Aymar, Director General of CERN, signed the
contract for extending the Intel-CERN partnership until the end
of 2011.
In January 2009, Intel will therefore enter together with
CERN and other partners the third phase of the openlab.
