There were three presentations given at the December meeting.
Ryszard Jurga gave an
update on the status of the CINBAD project which is now
moving from simple statistical analysis to a more complex phase
of analysing traffic signatures.
Daniel Rodrigues presented an
update on MSG (a Messaging System for Grids). He covered in
particular, the issues when moving into a pre-production mode
with traffic peaking at ~600 messages/s.
Anton Topurov, as the third speaker, covered the
results from a second round of testing the Oracle Exadata
Storage Subsystem. He had previously presented some initial
results (after a very limited test session) in October.
All the three presentations represented very good progress and
are
available on the openlab Web site.
Sverre Jarp reminded the audience that the next Review
Meeting will be the Major Review on 29 January.
