In the framework
of the second phase of openlab, a class of activities
has been launched focusing on networking ans security
activities.
The major networking activity lies in the
CINBAD project, a
collaborative activity between CERN and HP-ProCurve to
analyze networking traffic. This is complemented by various
activities in the field of networking performance and
high-bit-rate interfaces.
During the first two years of openlab-II,
security activities were run in collaboration with the
companies F-secure and Stonesoft in the field of intrusion
detection. |
